Jared DuMond

Jared is currently a third year student from Florida where he was attending a private university pursuing a Business Management degree with a specialization in Health Care. Upon starting studies at Murdoch, the business degree was put on hold. Jared has over 12 years of experience in the veterinary field where he has spent most of the time working in small animal specialty medicine with a concentration in cardiology and internal medicine. He also has experience working in general small animal practice as well as some volunteer experience working with fruit bats, pygmy sperm whale, and little penguins. While Jared doesn’t quite know what kind of veterinarian he wants to be when he grows up, he does know it will probably be a specialty field related to small animals. Jared is excited to participate in the VBMA and hopes to be able to share his knowledge of business from previous studies and work experiences in order to benefit others.
