Emily Barrick

Emily is a third year veterinary science student from Minnesota USA. She has a previous Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa USA. Her work experiences include small and mixed animal veterinary assistance work, dairy research, and business development services for the renewable fuels industry. She has a strong interest in the business management side of veterinary medicine and is excited to have the opportunity to lead the Murdoch VBMA in 2009. Her goals for the VBMA in 2009 include reaching more students, creating strong networks for members, providing more specific business related seminars, and organising a fantastic student-run conference/workshop event.
