Vice-President:  Still open, come and see Catherine if you are interested!

The main role of the Vice-President is to assist the President.  There is no real definitive job description for this position as it is basically a backup to the President.  It does require extra meetings with the President.  There may also be times where you assume the role of the President if that person can not be at an event or meeting.  This position really is what you make of it so if you are a self-starter and full of ideas this is perfect!

Events Coordinator: Still open, If interested come and see Catherine

The events coordinator is in charge of organising all VBMA events. You follow up on ideas discussed at meetings by contacting speakers themselves, or by liaising with another committee member who has a contact.  You also set the dates, book the location, arrange food and drink, and work out any other logistics to make the event a success. The position does require a little time to organise everything, but is very rewarding. It is a great feeling when an event that you have put together is a success and runs smoothly.
